Sarah Golding is a Qualified Autistic and ADHD Counsellor and Psychotherapist
I am a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist registered with the BACP.
I use an integrative approach, which uses a mixture of theoretical perspectives resulting in a tailored approach for the individual. This includes drawing on Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, Attachment Theory and psychodynamic. In addition to the PACE model of Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy. This also involves providing options for traditional talking therapy, creative and playful methods, such as sand tray, artistic expression and play.
As an autistic and ADHD professional, I focus on neuro-affirming practice and much of my continued development is aimed at increasing my knowledge. I have experience working with autistic burnout, anxiety and many other emotional challenges or experiences.

I have lived experience as a sibling of disability and health concerns. As a young child, I grew up in the hospital environments. This was me with the previous Queen Mother at the opening of the first Ronald McDonald house in London, supporting families with children in hospitals.
